About
Jeff Guitar Nelson has played 1000’s of shows since the age of 18. Starting his career in Clearwater Florida with The Big Kahuna Band, Jeff performed at many biker festivals and Blues fests with the Kuhanas. After moving to Pittsburgh at the age 21, he started a band called Orchid Room. All original. His love for the blues brought him back to it full circle joining likes of the Hipshakers, The Honky Cats and Shades of Blue. In 1998, Frank Joesph- former writer for Guitar Player– said Jeff was definitely in the top 10% of greatest guitarists in the US. Locally, the media has dubbed Jeff Guitar Nelson the ‘Toast Of New Orleans’.
